I'm a political journalist working with digital and multimedia mediums, and a recent graduate of the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University. I received my bachelor's degree in journalism and international studies, with a concentration in immigration policy.
As an intern on POLITICO's magazine team, I've been reporting and producing magazine stories revolving around the 2024 election, immersing myself in political coverage. Previously at the Washington Post, I produced daily episodes of "Post Reports," the daily flagship podcast. Before heading to D.C., I spent three months working in radio production and economic news at Radio Continental in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I've also worked as a podcast intern and a reporting and production intern at LAist in Los Angeles and WLRN News in Miami, respectively. On campus, I served as the editor-in-chief of North by Northwestern, NU's largest general-interest digital and print magazine publication. My work has appeared in POLITICO, Washington Post, LAist, WLRN and its sister radio stations across Florida, theGrio, Latino Rebels and more.
As a first-generation Venezuelan American, the primary goal of my reporting is to shed light on the stories of immigrants and underrepresented minorities.
